This could have been a great, educating and interesting mytake, if it wasn't the title. all men are autistic? compared to women, yes, men are more prone to autism, but ALL men are autistic? really?
Hey, whatever gets it featured... people don't care to read things unless they are offended or totally agree. GaG is a shallow clickbait environment, just playing the game...
I definitely have autism and it sucks. I have a hard time maintaining friendships because I screw them up a lot. Social interaction is usually very awkward for me, and yet weirdly I crave it
To crave social interaction is human. We are social creatures so when we find it difficult to do what others seemingly do with ease it can get frustrating.
Daaamn. I used to have Aspergers and I feel as if you make it seem so... Plain? Simple? Ah. Read and meditate on your prejudice and pretensiousness. Do you know that psychological "illnesses" or "dissabilities" or conditions are often over diagnosed and that a lot og diagnosis are B. S. Today? Also, taking another psychological issue: ADD and ADHD. Some psychologists believe that it does indeed exist as a condition and others say that it's just a symptom of being human.
Yeah, it happens to everyone at some point in their life. For example up until recently i used to be really shy/socially awkward around people but now I'm fine.
@Jeeevan No, I wasn't talking about that! When I was younger I was shy too. I meant how even the more extroverted guys, can be awkward in how they express what they want. But srsly shy guys are usually more emotionally deep, so they don't have as many problems as party guys IMHO.
Some people think I have Aspergers and that I got over most of it and yeah I didn't know how to act right socially when I was younger but I'm good now but some of those things is just what makes us male. So that was an interesting take though
I don't know if those issues really are very prevalent with most men and I definitely don't think having some of those issues makes you autistic in the UK only 700k are autistic which is about 0.011% so Autism isn't really that big among men.

If that's how it is, I can be fairly certain I'm not autistic. I have a friend who is borderline autistic though, without actually being autistic -- as in, like, he has potential for it or something and has to get therapy so he doesn't develop full-fledged autism to a small degree or soething. I don't get all the details but anyway.
Well you could say that all men are autistic. Or you could say that all women are overly emotional.
Emotions never accomplished anything (for men, anyway), but logic has accomplished much. And emotions are selfish, self serving phenomena. You speak of empathy to try to take some kind of moral high ground, but empathy is ultimately selfish too. That's the point of emotions, to elicit activity from the organism incapable of higher thought.
Seriously. I see what you did, but I don't understand the why. What are you trying to say if not that some guys have some traits of autism, which frankly wouldn't be a surprise for anyone. Is there something you were trying to prove? What was the question in your mind when you started your research for this take?
In all seriousness I've been meaning to write this take since I first joined GaG a year or two ago. I read an article about it and found it very interesting and thought people nay enjoy discussing it. The fact it might piss off a lot of the people I don't particularly like is a cheeky, but welcomed bonus. The title is just clickbait, plain and simple.
Ah I get it now. You were trying to share something, not make a point. I was confused about your motivations. Are you saying you don't particularly like men or a subset of men. In which case, which subset of men?
I don't hate men at all. If anything I'm sympathetic to those who struggle and have problems which aren't recognised. I think we just all need to cut each other some slack.
I also want to say that I don't mean autism to be a derogatory term. I don't feel that way about autistic people.
The only people really who approached me were either vapid or made me want to cringe because they're quite awkward like I was. The really interesting people I wanted to hang around with didn't seem to have autism but I could never get in their group.
@Thisperson98 When I think "autism", I imagine "neckbeard", except able to get a job, and sometimes without the white knight and/or waifu elements, amd weird sense of fashion i. e. fedoras, shorts, neckbeards and ponytails.

lol... empathy= friendshipzone. Saying that men have autism because we have autistic type behaviours is akin to me saying women have schizoidal personality disorder due to your contradicting behaviour. It's stupid, generalistic and incorrect.
Yeah men are more likely to be diagnosed with autism but that doesn't mean they all have social issues. Men socialize in different way than women do. You obviously didn't read DSM5 manual. it has the criteria to actually be diagnosed with autism.
This is silly. I know plenty of guys (including myself) that have none of the problems of autism. Sounds like a bunch of angry women going for the same kind of guy over and over getting the same result mad they can't have what they want.

the fact you're using a clickbait on a topic like this really shows how much respect you truly have for autistic people.
No it doesn't, but please feel free to take offense.

Yeah it does.
Honestly, I have a friend who has to be super forgiving because I screw up all the time. It comes from the autism

I kind of agree with this. Every guy i know is always really awkward in some way. And then men can do the compartmentalizing thing.
Being awkward and being autistic is two majorly different things lol.
@Jeeevan obviously, but it's a really common trait I've seen.
Yeah, it happens to everyone at some point in their life. For example up until recently i used to be really shy/socially awkward around people but now I'm fine.

Yeah, i agree i just think that girls can be awkward in how they express things too
@Jeeevan yep...

I had to learn to be less empathetic than I naturally was, to live in man world.
We may not be high on the autism scale but most of us probably at least have Asperger's. :P
speak for yourself.
You did this for that contest right?
Coz this some of the best bullshit I read all week.
You can smell that bullshit from a mile away
What was the point of this take exactly? Was it to annoy guys?
No, that's just a delicious bonus...
Haha! Did it work?

Sorry, I must have missed your reply.

Autism for me = being "uncool", and no one wants to hang out with you.
Ah, but there are plenty of people who don't like "being cool". Sometimes flying the flag of the odd is far more interesting than being 'cool'.
Are you saying autism is bad? There are a lot of disorders that are considered autism. My closest friends have autism.
The only people really who approached me were either vapid or made me want to cringe because they're quite awkward like I was. The really interesting people I wanted to hang around with didn't seem to have autism but I could never get in their group.

GROSS. as an autistic girl, I'm very disgusted that this my take exists at all. 😒
Female gagers "DON'T GENERALIZE" when talking about women's behavior. However a lot of you like to use "ALL MEN...(Insert stereotype).
If all men were autistic, the diagnosis would be irrelevant. It would simply be the nature of the male gender.
Yeah men are more likely to be diagnosed with autism but that doesn't mean they all have social issues. Men socialize in different way than women do. You obviously didn't read DSM5 manual. it has the criteria to actually be diagnosed with autism.
Men are more likely to be diagnosed because Autism is easier to spot in us than in women.
