Guys; what does it mean when you remember the small details?

I met this guy a couple of months ago, and I recently saw him again today. The first thing he said when he saw me was, "woah, lost the glasses." I had just gone on vacation so most people were saying, How are you/How was the trip?
I guess he never saw me without my glasses before I left, so I can kind of understand where he is coming from?
To make it more clear I knew him for about two/three weeks then I left for a little over a month for this vacation and then when I came back, that was the first thing he said to me. We did talk more after that, but it just surprised me that, that was the first thing he said.
Does it mean anything that the first thing he said to me was about something like me not wearing glasses (like he pays attention to me)? OR am I grasping at straws because I'm crushing on the guy?
I just find it odd that after a month he talks like we just saw each other yesterday. >.<

Sounds like u came back looking hotter and he's on the chase. Men are extremely visual creatures, so a physical detail like this isn't extremely important. If he remembers more about things from conversations, that's deeper.

Lol. I don't tend to remember any details about peoples appearances, another reason his statement surprised me. xD Thanks for the insight to all that is guy. I'll have to make a note if he (or any guy) remembers something from a previous conversation.

The other day my guy said to "how was the last 2 weeks?", because he wasn't there for two weeks, talk about fine details!, I thought it was 3 lol. When a guy likes you he will make sure to retain tiniest details about you :)

That was my thinking. It seems though it can mean nothing or something, lol. All depends on the guy, I guess.

You may have just really made an impression on the guy, or he may just remember you really well. If you're interested in him, talk to him. Chances are he's interested in you.

I think its not a small detail. Losing glasses is a big change. Might just be stating the obvious. I don't think it means anything whatsoever

That's where I was a little confused. I consider it small because I normally wear both contacts/glasses. It could mean nothing like you say, I just thought it was weird to say that first, because I would of just casually brought it up when I'm already talking to the person.

Maybe he did not know what to say so he chose the. most obvious thing in order to talk to you. That might mean sonething

Haha, really? Even if he doesn't like me, I'll wear contacts more often. :D
