some guys are just like that. i had a coworker flirting with me non stop and thought he liked me only to find out he has a girlfriend. For some, it boosts their egos, gives them attention from the girl and gives them confidence plus it's fun for them. Definitely don't look at him as a love interest cause not only does he have the girlfriend (whether or not it is a serious thing to him) if he were to get with you, he'd probably do the same thing with another girl. Some guys, NOT all but some are just straight up douche bags. That's disrespect to your girlfriend.
