Why do guys like girls who act like princesses?

It seems like guys tend to like girls who act like princesses, at least when they're young (14-20.)

The girls who are very confident, but kinda needy... like "carry this for me. Buy me this. Do this with me. Tie my shoe. I'm on my period, why didn't you bring me any candy?"

I swear I see this. Especially because I have a friend who is JUST like this. Don't get me wrong, she's a cool person but she demands the princess treatment and guys are very willing to be little bitches and go for it and be walked all over. And they say its "cute." How is that cute? My friend expected her boyfriend to track her periods and bring her snacks and midol during them.

Guys generally seem to like girls who are bratty, use baby voices, whine, act helpless... I hate that.

Some guys are willing to do a lot for a pretty girl. It may also appeal to some guys' masculinity to feel needed/useful, like they're taking care of their girl kind of thing. Plus, those guys are young too. You don't really see older guys catering to "princess" type girls, so maybe it's also about maturing, getting more experience, realizing that all girls aren't angels, and that the way into her heart and bed isn't to be so nice you get walked all over and mistreated. Those "bratty" girls are usually more interested in guys that don't bow to their will all the time anyway.

Ugg... I can't stand those types of girls you describe. That is a major turn off for me. I think both guys and girls especially at that age just want who is popular. When both girls and guys mature they realise more that at the very first stage looks do attract because it is all you have to go on at the very start but very shortly after personality is what makes a relationship. A relationship were one of the people has a bad personality can only last so long. It sounds like you are pretty mature.

I can't stand those types of girls. Any man that has common sense doesn't mess with the pretty girl complex. Those girls are also not secure at all. Anyone who is actually secure in themselves, doesn't treat people in that manner, their beauty is only skin deep nothing more.
