It depends on your personality and theirs, honestly.
For example, I'm the type that loves to joke around, playfully insulting each other, some playful hits/punches (nothing hard, of course)... contrast that with light touches of the leg, back, arms or even face (especially if he has some facial hair).

no he doesn't have any facial hair... he would look like sum rich hillbilly if he did... and even if he wanted to i dont think he could... lol... but lets say he's caring and he's a a complete clown who tries to act cool... always teasing

You can read some articles online, they can help, just read a variety and pick up on commonalities. You can slightly tease with a gentle touch to the arm if he says something funny and laugh.

Well that's how it is! It's hard if you want to touch him, just tease through speech then to flirt, if he is unresponsive he probably isn't interested.
