Well, this guy showed me signs of interest such as glances, stares, try to be close to me and smiles but as I'm totally too shy and wasn't sure about his intentions, I always reacted bad:
-when he smiled, I looked away
-one day, as he stared, I frowned (not in a mean way) like 'why are you looking at me like this?', he mirrored my face with a smile.
-and the glances, I never smiled back
He did this during 2 weeks and after the frowning, he started to do only quick glances and little smiles. However, I didn't smile, I couldn't do anything since I feel insecure and don't trust easily people.
But I felt like I had to do something, but isn't it too late?
Now, he doesn't look into my eyes when I look at him, he looks somewhere else but looks at my face and butt when I'm not looking (I feel it). Last time I tried to make an eye contact with and he only looked into my eyes when he was really close and quickly looks away. Another time, as I was in class, he walked past through the door, raised his eyebrows and stared into my eyes.
He usually mirrors my expression.
But now, I try making eye contact with him and he always look somewhere else.
We barely know each other. He is the popular guy so not the shy type, I presume.
