Guy's Hugs (Body Language)?

So, me and this guy.. I'm pretty sure we both knew we both like each other and we haven't really talked for a little and so the other night I was at his house and as I was about to leave he wanted a hug, then he pulled on my waist to bring me close to him for the embrace, then like started giving me this bear hug and squeezing me really tight to the point where I couldn't breathe. Then, he gently relaxed the hug, and we just stood there for a good 20 seconds.. it was longer than a normal hug should be. He gives me these kinds of hugs all the time. I never see him give these hugs to my mom, or my sisters.. Does it mean something?

He seems to like you but sounds like he needs to tone down on the bear hugs
i know my grandma got her ribs broke by a bear hug caused by my uncle when
he was younger he hugged my grandma and got her ribs broke. But let the guy
know you like the hugs i think he's interested in you.

Maybe he likes how you feel on him. drive him crazy by being the one to initiate the hug next time. I think he likes you... show him you like him back. It will make him have the confidence to probably ask you to be his GF.

He has unfortunately a girlfriend, they were just moved in together. But, they had a falling out and she moved back home. We have always been kinda flirty with each other.. last summer we went to the movies and hung out a whole lot more. You can say we have a little history together, but he never asked me out. Everyone said it was so obvious that he liked me. He's a little more flirty now than he was.
