Shy guys- why do you feel inferior to your crush?

If you're an extremely shy guy who doesn't have experience with girls, would you feel inferior to a girl that likes you, or one you have a crush on? if so, why? Is it just because of a lack of self confidence? How would you act towards her?

I know someone who is shy in general, especially around girls. He's talked about this before and it's mostly anxieties which can be fairly different but ultimately come under being scared of rejection/not good enough or not wanting to change the girls thoughts of him for the worse. The fear of things getting worse. Yes, it's a lack of self confidence but also just over-analytical thinking and overdramatizing, but he can't help it. He doesn't act differently because he's shy towards everyone. This is obviously a very shy guy and doesn't apply to all cases, everyone is different but I hope this provided some insight.

If a guy is crushing on a girl, he obviously thinks pretty highly of her. If he doesn't think as highly of himself, then yes, they probably feel quite inferior. Like "what an amazing girl, she could get whoever she wants, why would she want me."

It's not that we feel inferior. But we're intimidated by you because we think you're really pretty and yeah we lack the confidence.

I'd try too hang out with/near her. And I may not be able to make eye contact with her if we're talking

Maybe it would be easy to feel inferior because she's more beautiful than the shy guy, and she can do a lot more socially and maybe she has more experience so its like she just knows more.
