Guys: Do you really judge a girl based on how her hands and nails look?

Question

I was always told growing up, to keep my hands and nails nice because one day when I start dating, my guy may often look at them as a sign of what type of woman I am. I'd also like to admit that I grew up with in a pretty old-fashioned Christian family. My uncle used to tell me a lot to keep my nails trimmed and my hands well oiled and soft. Guys hate hands with calluses lol. As an adult, I go nuts making sure my hands are nice and nails always groomed and polished and my boyfriend barely ever notixes unless he's holding my hand or I say "look at my new manicure" lol. Is this true guys?

Most guys don't care about hands and nails really. my bf did never paid attention on them. But sure some do. I know a guy who won't date you if your nails are painted and your hands are soft

I honestly don't think most guys notice. A few guys might, but I don't think a lot care. At the most they want you to have soft hands/skin.

I don't normally pay attention to a girls nails. The big exception is if her nails are really dirty all the time, or if they are dirty while she is handling food. I think that is really gross.

I think for the most part women worry about small details that men are never going to notice, and guys don't even think to take care of details in our appearance that women would appreciate.

I don't really notice their look unless her nails are freakishly long or something. LOL

I do really enjoy the dichotomy that occurs when her hand is in mine, though. Her hand is smooth, small, and soft, whereas mine is larger and more defined, the wear making them seem more utilitarian than hers. It's sweet.

Yes I do and I'm sure that makes me shallow. But I love them! I notice and guess I have a thing for hands (and feet to some extent). They make a hand look beautiful, elegant, professional, and shows me a girl wants to take care of and pamper herself. I also find it to be a huge turn on in the bedroom! They feel amazing! I love physical touch!

Guys don't ever really look at your hands. On the scale of things it's not greatly important. Sure, keep your nails trimmed and tidy, but we don't care all too much if they have a fancy pattern on them

In my opinion, how a girl keeps her hands and feet and nails and toenails tells a lot about a girl.

Yes I admit; I do have a fetish for pretty hands and nails. So people might argue I am wrong. Please don't get the "fetish" claim wrong. I just like to admire them. I don't go physically crazy and disgusting after them.

It's nowhere near the top of my list. It's probably in the range of things that can be nice, but not a deal breaker. I wonder if this advice has been passed down from generation to generation in your family.

Not really. At least not in my case. To be honest, I don't really notice nails. When I do, it's because they have bright colors that I just don't understand the purpose of.

Nice looking hand are very important! Hands are used a lot during sex and the way ones hands appear could be a deal breaker. I keep mine well manicured, buffed and clean, a woman should too.
