We sometimes go days without texting?

Why do guys text for days on end and then suddenly just stop for 2 or 3 days, sometimes a bit more?
I've sort of been seeing this guy for a couple of months.

I understand that texting can be a nuisance for guys, but I've already texted him once and he responded straight away and we had a good conversation.

But I don't want to message him twice. I should wait until he comes out of his mancave, right?

Also, we met up twice this week already, so I suppose he wants his space for a bit?

Probably. It depends on how much you like him and if you want to condition him to keep talking to you. Some guys are a little hard to reign in but he's mailable. He dIWant sound like he started out with one specific goal so you should be good to message him. You just have to keep at him and then he'll get to a point where if he likes you enough then he'll just automatically keep texting you. Keep at him like, yeah don't initiate conversation twice in a day just pace it on a schedule like talk to him 3 days out of the week, they don't have to be super long conversations but leave yourself approachable and make it like you want to know him more. Then change it. Switch your days and times up to talking to him.

Just wait until he wants to talk to you again. No guy keeps up the frequent communication that he starts with at the beginning, we just do that until we feel like we "got you", then we return to our normal rate.

It's nothing personal, I have times when I don't talk to my best friend for like 2-3 weeks. But it just resumes at our convenience, and this is my child hood friend. So don't think much of it.

May be his manly ego is keeping him away from texting you.. You should wait.. After all he is a guy. And guy should text first.. Not all times. but most of the times

Because There Is A Better Form Of Communication Than Texting.
He Is Hoping You Will Pick Up A Clue Along The Way And Call Him On The Phone, Or Better Yet, Leave Your Phone At Home And Go See Him And Talk In Person!
