What does it mean if a group of guys stare at a girl from afar?

So my friends and I were standing quite far from a group of guys who I caught staring at me. Even though we were far, I could see and feel their eyes on me. It was quite embarrasing because they stared quite a long time.

One of the guys already looks at me everytime he sees me and he has checking my legs, hips and ass out a lot. They were talking at the same time but I couldn't hear.

I didn't wear anything revealing and find it weird to stare from afar because you can't see well.
