We were at a party and this guy, a friend of my boyfriend was interested in this girl there and she said lets all go skinny dipping in the pool/hot tub so he said, "I'm a grower not a shower" and everyone laughed. But I wasn't sure.

Lol, some guys have pretty decent size when soft but when they get hard it doesn't get much bigger. Those are your shower's because no matter what level of arousal they show how big they are. Growers on the other hand can be quite small when not aroused and sometimes double in size when hard. For examlle, I consider myself a grower. At certain times I can be only a few inches long but grow to be 6.5" when erect.
