Are all late night texts a booty call necessarily?

Soooo this guy and I texted before on and off. Last night, he texted me at about 1:15 in the morning. Yesterday was Friday. He works nights at the mill from 2pm to 11pm. So it's pretty normal for him to be up that late anyways. He normally goes to bed around 3am. So anyways, he texted me you awake at 1:15 am. I reoed maybe 5 minutes later with, yeah, im at work, because i work 6pm to 6am. He didn't reply to me when i told him, that i am at work. Was he looking for a booty call and simce I was at work, he was 't sure how to respond to me. He normally texts me in the late evening or later at night. Me and him both work nights so it's pretty normal for me and him to be awake at say 2am on a weekday. I'm not sure if I turned him down if that's why he dkdn'y reply. Or maybe he just had gotten busy and/or didn't feel a need to. He has an odd texting habits. I do know that guys don't like texting just to do something. I am hoping that since me and him are doing things and busy during the day to have an actual conversation is why he doesn't text me besides later in the evening. That is because he isn't busy and can have a conversation.

Not necessarily booty call.
Could have been that he didn't reply to 'I'm at work' text because you're working.. and he didn't want to bother you.
I wouldn't worry much about him texting you 1:15am asking if you awake. It could have been that he simply wanted to say hi.

What bothers me is he doesn't text you during the day?
his work starts 2pm yours 6. so you two have plenty time during the day to talk and hang out..
it could be that he's more free, easier for him to text late night though.. just see if he actually cares to have a get to know conversation with you and wants to hang out.

Yeah, i know he is sleeping all the way up to 12 or 1 before work. I saw him that day on hos qay to work on the highway. He waved and everything. We hang out occassionally, but i think he avoids it a bit to avoid either of us gettinf attached again.

if he's only chatting then no, but if he's asking you to come over that late then yes, booty call. can't tell right now. he may not have wanted to chat u up knowing you were at work

He mever replied to my text though when i said i was at work. I kinda think he was going to go for a booty call, but sonce im at work i couldnt... he messaged me. at like 115 am, but he actually went to bed at about 330 according him being on facebook.

Yeahhh that's what i'm saying... but he's kinda weird about his texting habits. About a week ago, he sent me two messages that were telling me something and a pic of his dog... those were in Sunday and Tuesday night. I mean i may give him the benefit of the doubt and just say that he couldn't really decide what to reply to my message, so he didn't.

is he flirtatious with you? have you slept with him b4? if he only invites you over late night don't do it. you'll seem like a booty call. but if he ask you out & start seeing each other during normal hours then it'd be ok to go over there late at his request. but don't let him just use you & only see you after 11pm

Well he and i sorta were together a year ago for a month we've literally never done anything except he kissed me twice 3 weeks into our thing last year. So really not a lot has happened between us, I really like him and he isn't too sure on what he wants he goes back and forth a lot. He lives with his parents so he doesn't ever invite me over too much, especially then. We went and got taco bell together a few days ago, and everything was good. Nothing happened and he followed it up with a text saying thank you because he forgot to tell me when i dropped him off at his house. He knows i still like him. We're really just being friends at this point. He has a lot of emotional issues like depression issues i believe he said. I fully understand that he has a good reaosn not to be together, but two weeks ago, he claimed he had been drinking and was gonna go to bed before he did something stupid. A bit later i get a dick pic from him... he's like i already regret sending that to you.

I don't want to hook up with him because it'd mess with my head more than anything. I just feel like he knew i was at work and wasn't able to come over to hook up. If that was really what his intentions are. He knows i don't do booty calls, even if i reply to his late texts
