Decoding memes?

Back story: I worked with a super attractive guy for 8 months before he moved on to a new job. We low key flirted, and he knew I had a crush on him (thanks alcohol) but we are both in other relationships so never crossed any lines. We hung out a couple times after he left (with another co-worker) and even got eachother Christmas presents (just gag gifts, other co-worker was also involved). Now it's been almost a year since he left and he's kept in touch, mostly by sending sexual related memes. (which I think are hilarious and I send them back)
So I guess my question is what does it mean when a guy sends stuff like that? Is there any hidden meaning, like he secretly wants me too? Or am I reading too much into it? If he didn't think of me "like that" wouldn't he just send normal funny memes without the sexual content? Help! How does a guys brain work? Lol

Yeah there's been ones like "be the reason someone smiles today, or drinks, or masturbates, whatever works" or "it takes 3 seconds to type a message that will make her smile for hours...'i want to make your flaps moister than an oyster'" or jokes about blowjobs. Do guys send that kind of stuff to "just buddies" for a laugh or is he sending subliminal messages? Lol

It sounds like he likes you, but he also understands you guys are just friends. I like my closest girl friend. If she said I want to date and I want to make out with you, I'd say yes. However, I know that's not the case so I just occasionally flirt but do it in a way that shows We are just friends. I also don't cross a line either. So some touching, but nothing over the top. Basically, it sounds like he likes you but has both of you on friend status. However, if you are both single, then I'd say go for it.

i don't tend to send these memes and I feel like I would only do it with someone I really am comfortable with. (Probably a girl though) I don't think it would imply either being a friend or having a crush on her. Basically, it just shows that hebisncomfortable with you.
