Why is he mean to me, but nice with everyone else?

Sorry if it's long, I will try to cut it down. Let me start off by saying I am no angel by any means, I know I have my faults. My and boyfriend and I have been together for over five years and living together that long too, I know that through the years no one stays the same, but a change like this makes me wonder what the hell. For a few months now when I answer a question or whatever the case may be, when I open my mouth I get this go to hell look and he snaps or yells at me, and in the same breath is as nice as possible to our company, watching and listening to this. I can understand his reaction if I were being a bitch. It's come to the point now I try not to say much anymore. If I try and talk to him about it he turns it around on me and says that I'm doing it he's not. So I've asked people that have witnessed this if I was a bitch in any way, and they have all said no. I hope someone can help me and he does this when we are alone too.

just ask directly what is his problem, he is putting you down.. I think the best solution is to get to the root of the problem together whatever the solution may be, including breakup.. his behavior is not normal, he probbaly has some problems that he thinks he can't share with you and it could be anything really, so maybe try and go in that direction.. there must be some problem that is causing all this.. also don't forget your decency and honor in the process so always respect your self also, even if it means breaking up you need to protect your self and your self worth

I have seen people do this to their girlfriend and it shows that they don't have respect for them or really care for them.
Staying with someone who does not respect you and treat you well is not cool

I'm getting treated the same way from a coworker/ friend.
And I've had enough of it. Just backing off the same as u. Someone else can say the same exact things and he will bite my head off and be totally calm with them.
