What do men dream about? Verses what woman dream about?

I've heard that men and woman have very different kinds of dreams from each other. Like how woman dream more about emotions while men dream mostly about fighting and shooting like more manly things. Is that true or do you guys dream about your crushes, people, friends and random things. I also hear that women dream more about people they know and men dream more about strangers. Now, I'm not generalizing how both men and woman dream, It's just a thought and observance. I know everyone is different and dream not just about generalized studies. But, I want to see if it's somewhat true! Men dreams - usally set outdoors and generally centered around male characters. The action in the dreams is usually aggresive, and hostile behavior against the dreamer. And violence. Like competetion with other men. Dream more about --physical aggression Unfamiliar settings, tools & weapons -Less color -Shorter dreams than woman -Cars and roads -Stangers, success or failure -Sex with unknown partners? Women dreams - setting is usally indoors and familiar involving friends and family. Dream more about verbal aggression and emotional expression. -Kissing, flirting with someone, or sex with someone known to the woman -Loss of loved ones -Conversation -more color -Longer dreams than men

I have dreams people can only dream of having :D
I love every time I get asleep because I know every night I'll have some kind of funny, weird, epic or romantic dream. Sometimes all of them together.
Yesterday I put very peaceful and beautiful melody as my alarm and when It started ringing I was dancing with someone on the clouds along with this music :D

Another day I rescued my family from serial killer and things like that. Once I even was the Duchess of some part of my country and had battle with Turks :D Once 10 rabid dogs chased me and I was running on circle and laughing.

I literally don't see nightmares :D

Once I had a dream that covered years. It began with me as a child and ended with me as an adult. The subject matter of the dream does fit into your generalizations. But it was long, so long!

Umm... my dreams are too bizarre to describe and don't really fit the description you gave. Normally they're pretty adventurous and the only violence is normally someone trying to kill me while I'm defenseless. I've been shot and stabbed and it felt more lifelike than my IRL injuries. Well i dream about fighting zombies several times, running from a crazy scientist with a shotgun once, witnessing a scattered brain turning into a monster once, stabbing people twice.
The rest is just me doing random things like applying for a job, showing a song that i write to a boyband in a hospital, dreaming about my favorite celebrities in different circumstances, yeah. Random things.
My dreams are usually short so in a night I could dream like 3 or 4 different short dreams and when i wake up it's too much to remember. It's so random.

Dreams are the subconscious trying to communicate with your conscience. That's why we have such weird and variety of Dreams. When you study dreams certain object certain emotions reflect a type of sign that shows or could show what the sub conscience is trying to say to your conscience.

i dream about bizzare random shit.
usually outdoors and usually about people i dont know that sometimes turn into people i knew all along, without me paying attention to that.
sometimes the dream is so seriously fucked that im starting to realize that its a dream and change small things but still go with the flow, for example: i remember holding a pear and i said fuck it and changed it into an apple cuz i really wanted an apple and there werent any.

Oh wow! Yes, That's very interesting. It's like you have dreams about now situations and experiences. I've heard that dreams can balance your emotions when you're feeling too much of it. Like, if a person doesn't really cry often in person and hold it all in, their dreams will be the ones to release all of that. Well, here is the thing. It's not about something horrible or such (most of the time). It's just…basically random noise. Random scenes with some weird transitions, the “plot” is…nonexistent, but things, which are happening make no sense what so ever. It’s kind of hard to explain, because those dreams are extreme nonsense.
But that’s not all. Then, I go on with my day and out of the blue, my brain reminds me something, what happened in dream, but he is telling me, that this actually happened. It always throw me off.
