The guy I am dating for 6 months didn't wish me a happy birthday, why?

It was my birthday 5 days ago I didn't get any text or wish at all. Last night we were texting too as usual! I have told him my birthday date before he knows; 2 months ago he even said he saved it at his notes reminders lol and also for his birthday last year in November I wished him a happy birthday cute message.
Is this a sign he doesn't really like me or care about me? I could have told him its my birthday but I never forgot his... I feel sad and I feel like its useless after a week to tell him " hey it was my birthday last week!
