Science says that women are programmed to be all extra sensitive n stuff. And... I’m not saying that there’s no truth to it... but we are still creatures with a certain consciousness that allows us to break away from primitive ways if we want to. Otherwise, we wouldn’t have our wonderful gay people 🏳️🌈😁💕 Anyways... from MY observation and perspective, women are not emotional wrecks being dictated by feelings alone. If anything... as of lately, it’s been the dudes who can’t keep their feelings in check 😂 The ladies I’ve encountered have either been cold hearted or very neutral. Yet I keep seeing and hearing guys talk about how sensitive women are about every little thing. I simply disagree. Do you? Why or why not?

I fully agree with your point. Being emotional has got nothing to with one's gender. Although biologically any person may be more inclined to be emotional, the prevailing human culture in many parts of the world teaches people that it is more acceptable for women to express their feelings and less so for men. Hence, the disparity we see at the end...
You're also spot on about gay people. I am a gay man who has always been the most emotionally expressive person in my family. And, in addition to many other gay men I know, even the straight guys whom I've had sex with opened up at the end. There is a liberating effect of gay sex, even though those straight guys still performed the dominant male role in bed (I am always the receiving partner in bed).

Women tend to be more naturally focussed on relationships and diplomacy, where as men appear a bit more selfish in that regard.

Also I can across a study that suggested men aren’t emotionally mature until they hit their 30s. When it came to understanding the feelings expressed on female faces men below 30 were generally very poor at recognising the present feelings, whilst men above 30 were much better.
Sad, but true. Well, I was shy under 30, so I didn't give much emotional support, because I simply didn't know what it was. Plus, I was focusing on school, career, my health... which still sounds a bit selfish 😒.
Now, I'm comfortable with my emotions, I recognize they exist, and I do have to Express them in a healthy way.
Well I think everyone is different and its too much of a pain to generalize beyond an observable scope. Nobody has met "most women" or "most men" so we just don't know things like this
I think it's for many reasons. Firstly, studies show that the average man has 20% less testosterone today as the average man of 20 years ago. When a man has higher testosterone levels he becomes less emotional, with lower testosterone he becomes more emotional.
Plus we're taught that we're supposed to be more emotional and more sensitive as we grow up. Some people say that we're brought up not to show it but the fact is that this is such a popular opinion - surely that says that most people are interested in encouraging it in men. The complete opposite is true.
I also think that our culture has become more and more feminised and I think that's why more men kill themselves. I'm not saying that all is perfect for women either, but at least women's problems are taken seriously and there are organisations out there doing their best to help women. Meanwhile men's problems aren't taken seriously at all. A lot of guys just don't know what they're doing anymore, they don't know what they're supposed to do or what they are, they have no direction, no purpose. It's the reason guys play video games for hours on end to escape their shitty lives. Apart from telling guys that it's ok to cry, which isn't a real solution, nobody cares.
We will always and I mean ALWAYS have our primitive ways. Remember this the only thing which sets us apart from animals is our brain. Do you think monkeys would be they way they are if they had slightly better brains, they wouldn't, they would be like a second species of humans, a nightmare for us. Aside from that, let's take a look at hormones women have their period cycle during this cycle there is a lot of work revolving around hormones. Women have this cycle from puberty till menopause so on average 25 years of cycles. Hormones change our behaviour emotionally and physically in some cases. Since women have these cycles their emotional behaviour is changing which can sometimes make them appear more emotional than men. Now there are actually some male behavioural hormone cycles too, but these are minor and some of theses shifts will only happen every 3 months or so. So to sum up we are primitive animals without our brains. Women appear more emotional than men as they have several behavioural hormonal shifts in the course of a single month, whereas men may only have a single behavioural hormonal shift every 3 months.
I don't know about emotions per say but the hormonal changes in a woman's body are far more frequent than a man's almost non-existent changes. I guess this explains why they seem to be 'more emotional' and 'sensitive' towards things that shouldn't be that big of a deal. Also men are raised a bit different too, so there's this factor to consider for the emotional prospect. And it is kinda true if you're saying generally. There's a lot small & petty details a woman gives more attention to (outside of their profession) and maybe that's why they seem extra sensitive.
Women are defenintly more emotional than men but I think we recover from heartache and tragedy more easily. Men and women have both equal and opposite gifts that compliment each other well. Where a man is often a little bit better at something there's always something a woman is that much better at.
Generally they are, but i feel like men are very emotional too but the society sort of pressure them to mot show them and they are raised not to show them so they just do. And not all women are sensitive emotional wreck, i was treated of insesitive and unemotional because i didn't show as much emotion as am entitled to by society.
The women i have encountered were not emotional at all, they were all drama queens, and played the game of being sad and crying just to manipulate, These days women are not emotional at all, most of them are more evil and most men are emotional and sensitive
I have female friends that cry over a book character dying or whatever or while watching a soap opera or Hallmark Movie. To me, that's ridiculous, as I don't see how someone is so affected bu a book character, that the feel enough sadness to cry about it. I cry over something extreme, like my cat dying, but not over a book character. My friends used to call me heartless because I don't cry over disney movies...
I’ve met some COLD people from both genders. So I think it doesn’t matter about the gender but rather the person and their personalities. Some people think logically than emotionally. Both are good and not necessarily bad.

Last 30 years woman evolve , more cruel and slutty than man. So i believe woman are not emotional how everybody thinks, the bad thing with that is less and less family will created in the future , the good think with that is the woman are more easier to make sex, this evolution help many man and many woman to have many have sex partners.
It isn't so much we think girls will cry over the smallest thing. But they'll be dictated by their emotions. Girls are more likely to hold a grudge, girls are more likely to do something spiteful out of vengeance. Things that aren't very masculine usually

Then have a better judgment of character!!! It’s not THAT hard to spot a snake. People really make no sense how they get into a relationship and feel deceived or unloved later on in the relationship. But really they could have avoided all that if they would have used their brains a little more.
I hear what you're saying, there are definitely emotional guys, but women tend to let their emotions guide them more in their thoughts and decisions, were guys tend to be more logical thinkers. But you're right, it's not always the case.

“Feelings not being kept in check” can be valid. Being “emotional” is more about what you’re reacting to. If you don’t have a good reason then we would say you’re being emotional.
Also being cold hearted doesn’t mean you’re not emotional, it just means you don’t have the emotion for whatever people expect you to react to. It doesn’t mean you don’t freak out over certain other things.
Because a majority of women are more emotionally mature. So, more in touch and accepting of their feelings, which influence their actions (ngl it also dramatizes our reactions lool)
Females are evolutionarily locked into being the nurturing and caring gender that raises offspring. That's simply it, the reasoning is just that more empathy and emotion causes more affection and thus care. This will never be truly played down by any societal beliefs, your subconscious hardwiring is always the winner.
It is a fact that women are. It doesn't mean that women allow emotion to rule their lives. But women still get "feels", where men wouldn't understand what "feels" are or even recognise one.
Because its a biological fact backed by dozens upon dozens of studies in sociology, psychology and neurobiology. Women on average are more emotional than men. They are both more willing to express them, and experience them more intensely.
Honest question. You said you are on your period and know you are overly emotional. Do you ever question your decision making during your period and/or try to validate if you made a rational decision with someone else? Trying to understand if it's tough to trust your gut right now? Obviously I don't have periods but I am curious.
