He ghosted me after I called him out on stringing me along, why?

Long story short, I started talking to this guy a month ago, and we've only had one date in a whole month. And it's due to him being "busy" all the time. But he would call me every single day and we would sometimes talk for hours. So obviously I was doubtful of his intentions and told him that I feel like he's stringing me along. That not making time or any concrete plans to see each other is weird and that I just wanted to know what is he thinking. He then assured me that he really does want to see me and date me but that right now is really a bad time since he has exams and needs to study. That we'll see each other after the exam. He also added that he doesn't like feeling pressured about this. I said it's all cool, that I just needed to talk about it, that he should focus on his studies now and then we'll see where it goes, no rush. And then he stopped calling...
Did I blew it with that conversation? Is this really my fault? I feel like if he really wanted to see me he would make it happen somehow, at least for an hour or something. And by ghosting me like this he only proved that I was right and that he was indeed stringing me along. If he really liked me he wouldn't be put off by this. Am I right?

You're wrong. Typical woman who thinks she has the right to make demands of a man just because you're interested in him. You just pushed away an intelligent, ambitious, hard-working and self-respecting man. You're going to end up with some pushover lap dog who does everything you demand, but you ultimately don't respect, and will never truly love. You might even marry him, then tell him it's his fault you're not happy, divorce him and take everything from him. You might even cheat on him in the interim, and have a little laugh to yourself at the news of his suicide.
I suggest you reflect deeply on your choices. This probably isn't your first rash decision and likely won't be your last unless you accept some responsibility and seek professional help.

You're pretty much asking him to throw away his future for you to get attention. Don't concern yourself with why he did it, because you will never know. Bottom line: if someone is interested they will make the time and effort to physically see you/date you etc. Making time to call or text isn't the same to me.
