A girl on here asked about who should be the breadwinner, and some dudes on the comments sound sorely insecure. C'mon dude, its just money.

As long a man works and is productive who cares if his woman is a doctor and he is a security guard or whatever.

As long as your wife submits to you and respects you as a man that's all that matters, not who makes the most money.

The answer to the headline is yes, but the language aftee is something I might be critical too. The reason is not because those labels are untrue but because sometimes there's more to. he story than there being only black or white.

People can be weak, sometimes males adopt hyper masculine traits to compensate for this. People can be born without proper guidance or detriments to their upbringing and therefore being weak or pathetic is only a symptom caused by their environment. Males, facing immasculation caused by humiliation from family and peers sometimes adopt hyper masculine traits to prove they are not girls to themselves and everyone else. They put on an act of bravado in a desperate attempt to prove to everyone they are men, because they were taught that they cannot have self respect if they are not a "man". This is usually caused by a lack of support and care. Ofcoarse, there are positive traits associated to the label of being a man which are true, but the emphasis is wrongly focused on the extreme characteristics of men and not the tangential. A man should be able to submit to his wife, in fact ancient chinese customs dictated that men were to act under feminine principalities to their ruler, obedient and loyal. They thought this because the extreme characteristics of men when unhinged are wholesome destructive. Men must possess a feminine traits side as to retain a sense of order.

In this particular post I express a need of caution towards the drastic labels put onto something perhaps suffering a condition. Because it offers redemption and humanity.

There are reasons why it is this subject is treated as lacking of character. The reason being that if one truly cares for something, people in particular they must be strong and must be good providers. It is not to arbitrarily shame people. The shame is the product of the contrast between better and worst. In order to be a good person a person must act in a behaviour which cultivates prosperity so that their accumilated wealth and labor can be distributed amongst the needs of their dependants. These dependants being born into a world of treachery and danger. Children in particular need good fathers to strive.

The reason why money is brought into question is because it is a measure of a mans efforts. It may not be the best metric of measurement, but it can allow an approximation of a persons internal character, where their heart lays. It is not tantamount that a man makes lots of money.

It's a losing battle for guys today. which is why the hookup culture is so prevalant. Go on any dating site for example and it's woefully apparent your avg. guys is incapable a meeting the demands of women today. Most good women are married off by 25 (some say younger but i try to give women the benefit of the doubt wherever possible). And i advise any guy if you're not married by 25 to stop trying. and be ever on your guard with who your meeting. If she truly loves you she can wait. sometimes it takes a while to find out who she truly is. A lot of women are very adept at hiding it.

what are you trying to portray to an insecure man, and maybe you are confident, but what are you trying to portray to yourself? there are a lot of insecure men out there, and thats fine, telling him that he's weak doesn't help when he actually isn't weak. it just makes him hate himself more, put on a mask and pretend he's confident when he really isn't. Looks, things can't be sugercoated. A man worrying about superficial stuff as who makes the most money in a marriage is suffering from extreme insecurity and has a very fragile ego. It's the truth.

i thought this wasn't an argument about money, in a case if a guy can not date someone because they make more money than them then they really are not worth my time and maybe not even worth your time time

Everybody gets upset with the "submit to you" part, but the fact is that the vast majority of women do want men who take the lead. Most women want to follow their men, why do you think fifty shades is so popular? Sure there are always exceptions, but most women I know want a dominant and confident guy that she can lean on and be lead by.

Perhaps I jumpesd to early to conclusions. To me I interpreted your original post as having the undertone suggesting that insecure men just need to change themselves with the implication that they are being immature. I think I thought this because usually when the term "get help" is used, it's usually meant to be derogatory roughly meaning "to get lost" or "go away"

So if I am wrong, I apologize. I realized that I may not be correct too late.

But to clarify, what is it that you meant? Were you saying that insecure men have certain issues needing diligent treatment and remedy? Sometimes sarcasm can be obscure with text.
