So I've been with my boyfriend for a year now. Since we've been together, we've taken some pictures together, but its almost like pulling teeth. He would always say he just doesn't like taking them because he doesn't look good. After a while, I just started to believe him and I hardly ever asked. Then one day a couple of weeks ago, I was doing homework on his old MacBook and I found a video he had made for his ex girlfriend when they broke up, basically like some farewell video of their time together. In the video, there are tons of pictures of them together, and many were taken by him. I was honestly like mortified.. This boy NEVER wants to take a picture with me.
When I asked him about it, he first said he thought he had deleted that video after they broke up and was surprised to know it was still on his old laptop. But when I asked why he told me he didn't like taking pictures, he said its because he really doesn't like to take them. I was like "Well why do you have tons and tons of pictures with your ex? And how come a lot of them were taken by you if you don't like taking pictures?" I started crying really bad because to me this was a bad sign. I asked him if he wanted to take those pictures with her and he tried to underplay his reply to me by saying "Some of them", but lets be honest, he wanted to take all of them. When I asked him why he never wants to take any with me, he started to say "I just dont feel like it" but he stopped himself when he realized how bad that really sounded. I stormed away in tears and he just kept apologizing to me and saying he felt so stupid.
Since then, he's starting to take pictures with me, but still isn't taking any on his own of us together, And he's still complaining about taking them too. I feel like he's just doing it to make me happy. But I feel like maybe he just loved her more than he loves me. Or he thought she was prettier of something. What do you all think?
