Why do men choose trashy girls over classy girls?

Men let's be honest, a lot of you swear up and down that you prefer a ,"classy woman, well put together" yet end up with the opposite. I'm starting to wonder if the women men say aren't their type are the ones women should really worry about🤷🏼‍♀️

Self labeled Classy women tend to be high maintenance. Self labeled "classy women" tend to think that expensive clothes defines them as classy. Self labeled "classy women" think acting snobbish, critical or difficult to please defines them as classy. True class is none of these things-it is how you treat people. Trashy girls are fun even if you wouldn't want to marry one. Trashy girls don't take offense as easily about minor things, are grateful if you spend money on them and Trashy girls don't make you jump through (as many) hoops for sex. Give me a genuine trashy girl to have some fun with over a Self-Labeled "Classy" girl any day. And last I checked trashy girls have the same parts as classy girls

I distinguished between "Classy Women" and "Self Labeled Classy Women". Is it because you fit the definitions in the latter category rather than the former? Is it the concept that "classiness" is not something you can just declare that you are, its an evaluation others make of you?

Lol “classy” women seem to never understand.. if you have an attitude that is off putting to a man.. your done. Not all girls that love to be freaky with there men are trashy. I personally like a woman that can be a little bit of both in the right circumstances with me! What I can’t stand is a woman that things she is better then everyone, and entitled to shit. We are interested in girls that will be willing to give us some sort of action. We want them to be attractive because that means they might be looking for a guy. Classy means, they probably have settled down by now. Something like that. or at least that is what can be assumed. This is a real problem, girls want guys to approach them but how do guys know if they want to be approached or are even available. Dressing trashy at least says I am not worried about a boyfriend. Given these are all assumptions. Socially it would be better for girls to be more open and willing to talk to guys. It seems like they are too busy waiting while guys are too busy being nervous.

I suspect guys go for trashy as the vibe they give is fun, sex, free. If a woman is too serious or confident, it will deter guys who want to "rescue" her... damsel in distress look.

While we might prefer one over the other, some of us like both. Also I find what one considers "trashy" varies greatly from person to person. And especially between girls and guys I think, meaning I think women think a lot more is "trashy" than guys think. If you notice, most of the time it's other women calling them "sluts" etc., not the guys. But also, we might see another side to them that you don't see.

If "classy" women means women who are down-to-earth, have values and are not about flashy things and gossip, then I would always go for a classy woman, because that's my type. I'm usually more attracted to them, as long as they are cute, than girls who are conventionally more attractive, but lack substance, are high maintenance, like useless expensive things and live for drama, which means "trashy" to me.

Of course a guy is going to choose a classy girl over a trashy girl. But on the surface a girl typically just looks like a girl it's not till later that we find out which we have. And the trashy girl is probably more accomadating. Which would you choose? The guy who approaches you or the guy you have to approach. Guys are no different.

I don't get your point. You're calling us idiots and arguing with both of us while also saying that women are stereotypically shallow as well... And that's our point. I have seen couples in which the woman is the more attractive one, as well as couples in which the man is the more attractive one. I would personally go for a nerdy girl with a good personality, as long as she is cute and I feel somewhat attracted to her (not that she has to be a model, but I'm not attracted to obesity and all that, sorry), than a very attractive girl with a horrible or even without personality.
My realistic crushes have been what people would refer to as cute or even average girls, while for me they were perfect, because I care about their personality just as much. Not that I have had any success so far because yes, women are just as shallow as men and they don't feel attracted to me, too.
