Why does my boyfriend get excited when I by new clothes or change my makeup or hair?

I kinda think it's cute he takes interest in my outfits and that he takes notice but i make a effort for him. Im just wondering why he gets so excited about it.

Im very passionate about my fashion so maybe he's just trying to be supportive.

Whenever i go clothes shopping he says he can't wait to see me in my new clothes and sometimes lets me do little fashion shows for him.

He even asked his sister what a item of clothing was called that i always wear. I wear a lot of rompers and he says he really likes seeing me in them.

He likes when i dress all cute and pretty for me, even when i do my makeup, nails, hair. He'll always ask me about it and i sometimes let him choose the colour of nails i should have.

I said to him but i know he probably doesn't care when i talk about makeup, fashion etc but he said "no i actually really love that suff about you" and smiled
