Is playful arguing a sign of sexual tension?

This guy and I never got into heated discussions and arguements before. they aren't mean or hurtful, just this weird thing going banter back and forth. Other people have noticed and have even said "now children, play nice!!" Or "ok, cool it you two."

He's always so bossy and lecturing me and teasing me, all at the same time. Honestly, I think he loves this weird banter. Is this a form of sexual tension? Is this just a weird way guys flirt? Pick on you, tease you and fight?

Bit of both... I do it with close females I know.. Usually ending in "your face is..." "Your dick is" ... Etc...

With guys it's banter but some times when you disagree with some one you like you can get quite heated... My boss has told me and a co worker to chill before and we both stopped and said "huh? We are fine" and we were it's just how we discuss

It's hard to say. Some guys do it as a flirt. Some guys just have that sense of humor. I have that sense of humor but I also use it to flirt. But that doesn't mean im flirting if I do it.

Here's what you do. If you like him, ask if he's hitting on you. If you don't like him like that, assume it's just kidding around and move along.

Yes, my roommate likes to do this to me, one of us will ask the other to do something and we’ll usually say make me, I don’t try to make it sexual but she does which is kinda annoying cause Ik it’s not gonna lead to anything

It's not too harsh. Mostly stupid things but a bunch of times over actual issues

It's both. I think he realizes when it is a bit harsh and then softens up with teasing.
