"Its always the shy one"...your take on this expression?

This expression could mean any number of things...I have my own opinion of it (as I'm a shy person myself) but I'm curious as to yours.

Someone pointed this out...the expression is 'quiet ones'

I've heard it said "It's always the quiet ones." Like someone else said, it could mean a bunch of things, depending on the context. Usually people say that after school shootings in the like. When someone's a little too quiet, they might not be talking because they've got a lot to hide.

Shy is different than quiet, though, so "It's always the shy one" might mean something else entirely.

I always take it to mean that it's always the shy/quiet ones who are the most adventurous/loudest in bed, because that's generally how it's used anytime anyone says it to me. =P
