Most likely that he's not fluent in emoji... most guys aren't... I'm not. I also use too many ellipses.

For real tho, it's probably just a platonic I love you. If you're dating him, then it just means I love you, and he misclicked and was too lazy to fix it.

You could always just ask if you really want to know I doubt he would take it badly.

Something like "why the blue heart emoji?" The worse response you could possibly get would be "because you make my balls blue," or some other piece of idiotic sarcasm.
