Why did my crush fist bump me?

He would walk up to me as I ate my lunch during break, hold out his fist, not sideways but up and down, fist bump me, then he would turn and walk away. Him turning led him to still look at me and proudly point at me while still smiling. While he did this, he looks a few seconds longer. He wouldn't stop looking until he left the room. He did this like 5 times. I'm scared to lose him though bc of COVID closure like what if he doesn't feel the same he did.

SO. It's one of two things.

1- He likes you and is starting with small touches to get you comfortable. Also- with COVID people are suppose to keep distance. lol Some guys don't want to go for the full hug at first. Also, starring is an intimate thing guys do when they are attracted to a girl. See if things PROGRESS over time. If not, see number 2.

2- Friends only. BUT- 70% of the time, if a girl tells a guy she's into him, he will eventually be into her. So GO FOR IT. Show interest or take charge and ask him out.

"I'm scared to lose him" This is normal but you gotta get over it. If you are likeable to him, keep being who you are and don't worry about things degrading over time. Yeah covid sucks but we can't control the fact that it's upon us now.
