Why did my crush even kiss me?

I went out with him on Valentine’s Day, he was acting different towards me, being touchy and some what flirty. After we got home it started snowing (it doesn’t snow in my city) we got out of his car and played with the snow and we got back in. I wrote him a letter and asked him to read it after I left because I was embarrassed for him to read it in front of me, we started fighting for the letter because he kept wanting to read it until he pulled it away from me, when I tried reaching he kissed me and I kissed him back and we had a small make out session. Next day I asked him why he kissed me and his reply was “just cuz 🤷🏾‍♂️”, I asked him again why and he left me on read, I sent him another text letting him know I cared about him and just got left on read... did I do something wrong myself? Why would he kiss me if he had no interest?

Don't ask a guy "why did you kiss me". Like bruh he kissed you because he wanted to. The answer to that question will almost always be the same. He doesn't have to have a strong emotional bond to kiss you
