Probably, I would highly avoid dating apps in general mainly because a lot of guys and girls on there just want a quick fix. Sure you might find one guy but thats about it, the rest want to get in your pants. My advice would be to seek a mate in the real world.

It's quite a disrespectful way to start talking to a new person in general. I'd guess he's seeing if you like this vibe and most likely it's probably just a hookup. Men should show more respect and say something like "hey how are you doing" or along those lines
