Im not able to focus on my studies because of my crush?

I have a crush (we're classmates) and once we confessed each other on text (since we can't meet irl) , but he's moving to another city and we might not be able to meet for more than 7 years... since then we have been talking like friends before , but hardly texting each other. i tried to initiate a convo but he somehow ends it saying he has to go somewhere or will reply me later etc.. so i stopped texting him for somedays... Now that i've got a huge study pressure i'm still distracted and waiting for him to reply or read our old messages and i'm not able to focus on my studies.. please help

All you can do is talk to the guy about how you feel. No point worrying about it. I've let crushes affect school before and I kind of regret it
