Guys, what do guys think when a woman pulls away?

lets say he did something that disrespected the woman and they were supposed to meet the next day, the woman calls him out respectfully and starts to distance herself. what goes on in a guys mind during this? what he may be thinking.

Its happened me a few times in recent years, same girl each time.

At first I thought I maybe offended or insulted her, but after giving it careful thought, I knew I definitely did not, as my conversations with her are usually serious but pleasant.

It left me very confused, but then after a few weeks she was back being super friendly again. This pattern has repeated a few times now, so I no longer pay heed, as I know its just her personality type.

Yeah in my particular case I secretly did miss her, I missed talking to her in person. But I did not attempt to message her or contact her until she became warm again. I didn't believe that I offended her, and later I realised I definitely did not, she was just being cold for an unknown reason.

Of course guys can miss girls.

Well considering women generally are very bad at explaining their reasoning for their actions. I would probably just chalk it up to a normal woman over reaction and I would probably step away from her and closer to her friends. Work on cultivating a new relationship until she decides whether or not she wants to be in this one.

i felt breadcrumbed and i made that known that i don't appreciate being messed about. we we're supposed to meet and instead of giving me a specific time he said to let him know when i'm ready as he's with friends. when i was almost ready he said he wouldn't be able to meet me until 4 hours later. i pulled away from meeting him that day and also cancelled another day we were supposed to meet to reprioritise as he clearly did to me.
