When a guy doesn’t want to label anything and just have fun, is he not interested in you romantically?

I mean... I went on two dates with a guy who pulled the 'no label yet' card, despite having said he's not into friends with benefits initially.
Then I went on a date with another guy who also said he's looking for something more serious, and he actually asked me out on the third or fourth date.
Honestly, I wouldn't give a guy who just wants to have fun. It might be true, but it also might be him just saying that so if he finds someone he vibes with better, he won't look too bad. Especially since he hasn't had that phase where he hooks up with a lot of people, I'd approach this situation with caution.
Putting pressure on him to call it a relationship before he is ready can scare him away. I get that you don't want to get hurt, but if you take away the risk you severely cut down your chance of finding happiness.
What's life without taking a risk anyway?
