To me, this is so fucking true.

I want my personal space and time, but I like knowing I have company somewhere in the vicinity, let’s say, my house for example.

I like knowing that I can effectively be alone, but knowing that I’m not truly or literally alone because I have company also doing her own thing.

I’m not saying I never want to hangout or be with my woman, on the contrary, I totally want to do many things with her.

I just like the fact that we can inhabit the same space and still have our personal space

I like knowing she is there.

I find this to be true for me.

no, I don't WANT to be alone

but I am quite well being by myself... whether is being single or living by myself, it doesn't really bother me... I also used to take long weekend trips to the woods by myself... I am someone that can enjoy solitude, it brings me balance and focus, I can find it comforting and revitalizing sometimes.

but is not something I look for or need it constantly, my friends are always around, my closest friends as well... there's family and relatives... and when I am in relationships, I -could- spend all my time with them or as much as possible, I do like that closeness when I am into someone.

Personal opinion a WOMAN is a lot more efficient when alone. Woman not having a man in her life has so much to look forward to. Less work, less nonsense, less money spent. Holidays wine and dancing with friends. Kids and snuggles. Disney and ice-cream. Anything breaks down call a service. U need to open a jar u can do it ur self. A woman needs no man other than to service her. Than he can go and be on his marry way. And he can have all the alone time he wants without bothering any females.

Don’t take this as an insult…
it makes me think of when babies grow to learn that their mother is still around even when they can’t see them. They still need the comfort of knowing that she’s somewhere nearby but they don’t freak out anymore when they can’t see her after a certain point of brain development.

I can sometimes fall into this category. I love my alone time, the space to just think without interruptions. This is one of those areas I've yet to find homeostasis with. Primarily because there's another person, with their own needs present. We can't read minds, generally. None verbal emotional indicators are great except people are seriously conflicted with how they actually feel and what they'll own that they feel. Most are not even aware of the gut-mind short circuit.

This used to drive my ex nuts. I could always tell when what she was saying was an "untruth". Not that I knew what she was lying about specifically, just that what was coming out of her mouth in that moment was not completely the truth. I wouldn't make a call as to whether it was because she was trying to deceive me or just shield me from a painful truth or she was embarrassed etc etc. Can't make that call under normal circumstances unless I'm familiar with the situation, the individuals in question and am up to speed with current developments. Then, I'm better at it than a psychic medium.
