Why does this male coworker put me down every chance he gets?

First of all he stares in my eyes at times when its totally unnecessary.

But yet most of the time he eill say things like:
-you need to get banged by a boyfriend and put in your place (i am not kidding. This has happened more than once in front of others and other guys laugh along)
-you need to wear makeup get your hair done and dress up in a bikini and heels
-something is wrong with you (he says this if i happen to giggle at anything when others aren't laughin)
-you need to go outside and go to the club

He has a friend who acts just as much of an idiot towards me yet stares in my eyes and flirts and seeks out my attention like he's thirsty for it (he will literally yell my name loudly almost every time he runs into me even though I told him several times not to, and someone commented on how my name is the first thing out his mouth when he comes to work. Like how strange.)

Recently this friend told him about how he has been asking me to set him up with my female friends outside work. And the other guy said 'she has no friends'. Then this one said 'yes she does. She went to so and so college'. And the one responded 'no she didn't' with a disgusted look on his face. He always has a disgusted look on his face when he looks at me or talks about me. Ok so if I am so gross, why focus on me so much? Making rude degrading comments all the time and staring at me?

I am a quiet shy type of woman. I seriously stay to myself and respond when spoken to. I do not seek these losers' attention. They seek me out
