There was this guy whom I catch the train every morning with. I paid attention to him stealing glances one day when he was sitting in the opposite seat.
His behaviour continued for a number of months and at some instances we made prolonged eye contact which was funny bcz he was the one that looks away.
His glances were not creepy but more of a curiosity, which is noticed more when I am without my friend whom I sometimes ride with.
Sorry for the long post but I always thought that there was no one who would look at me as I am average looking with nothing striking. The only thing that I think is positive about me is my hair which I make sure that it’s well styled every time I go out.

If you dress nicely, have a shapely figure, are overall decently kempt, men are going to notice you.

I get that some people have racial/ethnic preferences, but even if you are not *his type,* he can still appreciate the work you put into how you look.

I guess it's kind of like how women stare at each other, but are not necessarily sexually attracted to each other.
