Why does a guy friend at my job always say nice stuff in passing?

He says he hasn't seem me in forever, he will stop in his tracks and say its the one and only My Name. Or says its the mystical amazing etc My Name. Or he said its the Goat (it means greatest of all time).
he's hit on me a lot before. Im guessing by this that he's still attracted in some fashion to me. But i dont get how much or what these sayings are meaning to him?
