Don't you hate those possessive guys? Maybe give him a date or two to get him to calm down. Then go back to your talking to others. If he has got some feelings towards you other than friendship you will have to deal with it early or he will always be that way.

I hate it when people are like, "if you are not sure, ask them". In reality such conversations never occur or they become awkward because both parties would rather live in ignorance. And when someone finally does break the ice, its either accepted or horribly rejected.
