I’m always initiating conversation?

He always replies and initiates plans, and he’s great in person, but I notice I’m always texting him first. He used to text me good morning in the beginning (it’s been about three months), but now he rarely does if ever. The conversations are mostly the same but he just doesn’t initiate anymore.

You're at the right place. Ready this. Supply over demand is the problem.
You are “over supplying” your boyfriend with attention he isn’t seeking. Don’t think of it as “unwanted” by him — think of it as “pre-wanted.” He never gets to miss you, wonder about, because he is inundated with your excess “supply”, and the more you give the less he wants it , but this freaks you out, makes you try harder by doing exactly the wrong thing. It will be hard for you to back off. It may feel like you are jeopardizing your relationship, but it isn’t. You're just manually setting your relationship into a healthy mode. You need to increase the value of what you are providing, and the way to do that is to increase his demand (or the value he places on your attention) by reducing your supply of it. Instigate a few rules for yourself. After initiating convo, when he responds, do not reply any sooner than he replied to you. If he made you wait 2 hours, make him wait 2 and a half. When he asks, just be casual in letting him know “oh, I was busy with a few things.”Gradually shift into being the one not to initiate until he is the one to initiate at least 50% of the time.
