Why do men try to always try humble women who know they look good?

I went to the car wash today to vacuum a mess in my backseat, expecting it to be self-serving like usually. Well, apparently this one has guys who clean the inside which I would assume costs more (vacuuming is usually free). This guy who works there offers to do it himself even though I said I could, and Im like “for free?” Mind you, I’m asking so I don’t have to pay for extra service, not because I’m expecting it to be free for being a female. He’s like , “I’m just doing it because I didn’t want you to have to do all that, you alright” or something like that lol.

Yeah sounds like there was a simple miscommunication and u turned it into some weird comment about your desirability as an attractive woman. This is actually the issue. People just being nice and you take it as some sign he's trying to make advances or negging you or something.
