Ex keeps on trying to communicate even though I made it clear that I don't want him to talk to me. Why?

He tries talking to me about small obvious things, keeps asking me questions and I don't respond by saying anything but just by actions. I never talk to him initially but he keeps on trying. It's annoying because he has hurt me and embarrassed me so why talk to me again and pretend like nothing happened?

Have you tried telling him you don't want to talk to him anymore? Some guys need straight honestly like that to take hint and back off. That doesn't always work though so how well do you know him and can guess how he would react to you telling him that? Would you fear for your safety? If so then maybe not do that, but if your not worried then honesty might get you what you want of him leaving you alone.
