Why do so many males here treat this site like a dating site?

I'm asking this, because I noticed that this question:
Girls, Why do people treat this site like a Dating Site?
is only for females to answer, but I think we need some answers from those who try to use GAG for this very purpose - the men.
Now I just have to figure out if this goes under 'Guy's Behaviour', 'G@G Community', or 'Dating'. I'll put it under 'Guy's Behaviour', because it IS a behavioural issue were dealing with here.

Someone asked me in a private message what I mean by this, and this is what I mean. Many, especially those who are new here, act and carry on like this is the place to find the partner they've been searching for, and will ask questions and post images that indicate that that is the only reason why they're here. In my case it's the constant, nagging requests in PM's for information that is very personal and private, from people I've only ever wanted to have nice, interesting conversations with.

Probably for the same reason guy frequent strip clubs. There's a saying I heard a stripper say once "The joke is at a strip club you're going to get f***ed, but you're not going to get laid".
Where ever you get women teasing guys. You're going to have guys hitting on women. That's just reality. And with some guys it doesn't take a lot of encouragement. What I find comical is the guys that are so stupid that they see a "sexy" profile Pic and they foolishly think that's really the person behind it. Reality check! It's probably some 300lb. Dude. Guys! ask yourself, has a woman of that level EVER made a pass at you? A little common sense goes a long way. 🙄

It looks like a dating app on the app store and if you add other dating apps Google recommends this one with other dating apps. Plus actual dating apps are designed to keep you single and paying for their subscription.

If you've spent any amount of time on GAG you know that females post "how do I look" and "rate me" questions literally all day long, every day. So there's no question there are a lot of females here looking for male attention and validation. The other side of that coin, of course, is that they're going to get what they're looking for, and some women who don't want male attention are going to get it too.

It's not just on GAG. Everyone knows that men are the ones who are expected to approach females they are interested in, because females sure aren't going to do it. That's a blessing and a curse for females... a blessing for those who want it, and a curse for those who don't. It is also a curse for guys because we are the ones who have to take action but we don't know who is open to it until we try. But we don't have much choice in the matter because if we don't try, we will remain single our whole lives.

I don't think it is a problem. Maybe they get to know someone and like their opinions, views, and interests so they become interested in them. I don't know. It doesn't bother me. I just be polite if I am not interested in someone after they express interest. It's not a big deal.

I don't know. I don't treat is a "dating site" per say, but more of a site where I could potentially land a date. Why do I continue to do it despite countless fails, because it's the only website where I still have a chance of getting a date, that I trust. Even though everyone tells me, don't do this.

Males dont get matches lol. Plus here u can converse more converstaion is a key to healthy rel i feel . Plus dating apps are biased by looks i feel be it males or females. ( this isn't a dating app but i feel the ones who didn't get matches use this one like a dating app lol)

Like any other social media site people will be people. Which means trolls will be trolls and some people both male and female will try to hookup. It is a given. Girls have asked for tribute pics wanting guys to cum on the girls pic and show them. Now is that because they like the idea of a guy masturbating while looking at them? Maybe since it's nearly impossible for men to get a single date they just treat any place as a dating site. Ironically tinder probably has the least luck but not every man likes one night stands or spam bots
