Guy's Behavior

My guy friend (secretly my crush) hold my hands often, is he into me?

So i met this guy in college, we first met in class he was sitting beside me. Then we eventually became more closer, i used to hang out with him a lot. We go for night walk daily but we never held hands, i became more comfortable with him and overshared a lot.
We like to explore abandoned and scary places so we go out together but i usually get scared and deny to go in risky places, so he started holding my hand and force me to go with him and that's how we started holding hands.
It was one time i couldn't control myself and i self harm, he didn't knew about this, but then he saw my scars, that night i actually told him everything and he tried to counsel me and the next day we visited a psychiatrist. He was with me in the whole session. He had assignments to do but he choose to be with me.
Now i believe we are kind of getting closer, we made our own secret spot where we sit and talk and he volunteerly hold my hand, we sometimes interlock fingers.
He started taking daily updates whether i ate or i did self harm again. He knows everything about me.
But he never shared about himself, one day i asked him if he has anything to share and he said I will tell you when the time comes (right time).

Now' things that noticed about him:

It's always me who text him first, he barely text me 1st.
He's very shy and introvert and good in academics
He talks less with me in public (college), and tries to ignore me when he's around boys or our batchmates.
He never hold my hands in front of our batchmates
He don't share a lot rather he listens to me a lot.
He had lot of girl - friends
He don't really talk with girls of our batch, only 3 or 4

But i feel like he only thinks me as a friend, or he likes me too?
