I think in that context it means that he enjoyed himself. But whether he wants things to continue past that is hard to say. If he hasn't asked for your contact information, I'd say he's probably content to let things end where they are.

Sometimes a fling is just a fling, and that's okay. If you enjoyed yourself, and you're both happy, then it's a good thing.

He asked for my Instagram and taken a selfie with me. So I mean he does have my contact details but he hasn’t contacted me I am just going to focus on me and if he messages me when he’s not jet lagged or still travelling cool if not then so be it!

That's probably the best game plan. The selfie is nice. He probably wants to remember you. But the logistics with the two of you being so far away would be tricky, and there's no guarantee that he wants to deal with that, and potentially spoil a good thing.
