Guys, WTF? What is your similar experience sending a profound message like, "I want to marry you" then deleting it before you thought someone saw it?

I'm asking for a friend but it's much simpler to explain in first person,🙂 and add in my own observations.

Gagers (especially bilingual ones), what is your experience with sending a message then deleting it? Obviously if you have no experience to share, or guesses to make, don't answer. Was it something you were feeling but afraid to say. Did you ever say something profound to a person you did not intend to say it? Tell me about it.

My question:
English isn't his first language but he knows what marry means. 💁‍♀️ If it makes any difference.
He sent then deleted this message: "I want to marry you" and replaced it with "I want to help you, but I don't know about this guy."

I was asking him if he can help me by helping a guy I know. I was very confused when I saw that because I am talking about life and death, and he mentioned marriage. I couldn't see the relation.

His internet connection came off seconds after deleting and sending the "correct" text.

In watching the psychological evaluation of A. H. I learnt about slip-ups. He sent that message when it was night so he might be sleepy but marriage seems to be on his subconscious even though he said he can't marry anybody at all, in the past.
