Okay, there is an element of the Demi in me saying that as I don’t go off looks and not really personality all the time.

personality is very important, more so than looks, it’s what keeps you going back.

for everyone the mix of looks, personality will vary and be a proportion of each.

it’s extremes where someone says it’s beauty or it’s personality that it becomes bad.

what most people want is someone that fits their mould of someone desirable, which will be decent looks and decent personality characteristics.

Both the guys are right. Physical beauty is important, no doubt. However, each person gives different level of importance to physical beauty but without doubt this is important. Especially for man because men are visual creatures.

On the other hand personality is more important than physical beauty. Hence the second guy is also right.

everyone is different... and different people have different preferences and priorities, as well as intentions

immature people tend to prefer looks and attractiveness more than other things, and most of the times is because they do not have experience to know better or they just don't care and want just sex, and many think that attractiveness means better sex or it just turns them on more

but with actual enough experience and especially if you are looking for something more meaningful... you will realize that beauty is not everything nor the most important thing about people

You know beauty will help you get someone and even get married but character and how you handle things, will make you stay in your marriage/ relationship or get a divorce / a break up. So beauty starts first and character follows. Better go with an average looking girl with morals and good behavior, than a cutee or baddie (as people call them) with bad behavior or who can't control herself. Because someone's heart is what you're going to live with for a long time, beauty will eventually fade away. Same goes to guys. So much important is character then personality, beauty, looks shapes (curves, boobs, butts, lips, height (but it matters 😅), and what else you can put comes next.

No i do t think it's true.
Yes Beauty get the first attention for sure. . but once you get yo know someone personality takes over.. there are some hot girls i met of course their looks drew me in but after i got to know them their personality pushed me away.. same happens with the opposite.. the girls I'm not attracted too at first sometime I'm most attracted to after i get to know them.
I learned this a long time ago.. I'm not very attractive so I'm not a " first look" person.. but if I can get the girl to talk to me and get to know me then they become interested...

Well I think character matters most which is different to personality. Whilst we like beauty a lot if I see a hard look in the face and eyes of a girl than I am not going to be interested.

I agree that everyone has a bias for beauty & that personality matters. And when it comes to dating, it's the most important aspect. If someone's doesn't meet the looks criteria, people generally wouldn't want to mate with them. Though women are more picky when it comes to it & men are more likely to mate with a girl even if he finds her ugly. It's instinctual for women to be more selective due to harsher bodily consequences on there end.

But when it comes to everyday life, it's not the most important thing. For instance, I'm sure people would rather have more surgeons than models. And there are many others ways that people are loved that go beyond beauty. Any type of needed competence usually surpasses beauty since it's more useful.

But ofc, I'm also sure that people would rather have surgeons that look like models of they could. Assuming the effectiveness of procedures isn't altered.
