Is he a fuckboy?

I met this guy on tinder who's six years elder to me.. We talked on text sometimes, he told me that he's got laid with multiple women in the past, but never felt macho about it. I always procrastinated meeting him as I just felt intimidated by him.. He's way too good looking, 6'3" and not just looks, he is super intelligent and knowledgeable as well.. I thought that I'd never be able to match up to him.. However, he pursued me for long and then we finally met after one year.. The date was beautiful, he was a true gentleman and very chivalrous.. On returning, he texted me and started mentioning how he wanted to kiss me, hug me and hold my hand but felt shy.. I felt good when he said that. He asked me what I wanted to do, I told him even I wanted to hold his hand, hug him and put my head on his shoulder.. After 2 days, he said how he wished to eat me up, I felt a little uncomfortable as I am a virgin and it was a little too much for me, I told him about being uncomfortable, he started acting strange and then after a day said how he feels a huge void between us and we should not take things forward.. Is he just a fuckboy and was looking for sex?
