WWhy do some people at work have a hard time with quiet people?

My new boss made comments like 'no offence but you're kina quiet' uhh okay? Do bosses not have experience with anyone not constantly talking? Like what is there to talk about all the time anyway?

I dont get it. Does he expect ne to start havi g a new personality if he keeps making quiet comments? he's like 'im not sure if you're comfortable on the salesfloor' da fuq? When did i say i was uncomfortable? If anything being criticized and judged for existing is making me uncomfy.

Damn, someone like me…I do great work. Quiet and atomic people can sale too. We are not to be clowns and you (crazy boss) is NOT circus 🤡 . You don’t need to spy on me because I’m quiet and you can’t verify I’m F-in busy. It get me furious 😡.
I smile. Speak when spoken too. If I move or leave I make it known. It’s like I’ve got a warden because I just want to be left alone to work my game and do my work. Politics though…. Sorry for rant 🙃🙃

I relate. Thanks for that. These clowns really can't open their minds more than one inch past themaelves to see there's other types of people out there who thrive id you let them actually do their thing. So many bosses are so self centered and controlling thay they make the workers work WORSE.
