It depends what you're looking for. This sounds like a very emotionally mature person (unlike Guy13 lol) and would be great for a long term partner as he likely wouldn't ignore your feelings or gaslight you about them. Yes, I completely agree. The reason he's probably coming off as asexual is because due to his level of emotional intelligence he probably finds beauty and attraction from within that for him exsenuates the external beauty of women. If you're at all interested I would create an open conversational space you're both comfortable in to ask him outright how he feels about sex.
