If a guy is unironically calling himself an alpha male, that's cringe-worthy.

Midwits will answer that alpha/beta doesn't exist because the man who decided there are alpha and beta wolves decided that this only happens when wolves are in captivity, not in the wild. Aside from the fact that there are alphas/betas in other animal species, for example, chimps, gorillas etc. which are more closely related to us than wolves, it's completely irrelevant, and kind of dishonest.

Are there guys who get laid a lot/have an easy time? Yes. Are there guys who don't get laid a lot/have a hard time? Yes. That's what's meant by alpha/beta. People might disagree with the terminology, but I say it's dishonest because everybody knows that's what it means.

Some people like to believe in woo woo things like "there's someone for everyone", but that's just feel-good nonsense.
