Guy is leaving me?

I ve been on a few dates with him.

He used to go to the small courtyard of our university to smoke and we chatted there multiple times.

Ever since I told him I have issues with housing and thought of leaving the country forever, he stopped coming to university.

He came today and a friend who goes to the courtyard said that he came there but stood by the door and was looking around. Then he said hi to a few people sitting in front of him. My friend said are you looking for her and she said he smiled and left. She also said he looked frustrated/stressed and was rushing.

He left the campus shortly after. Does this mean he's avoiding me?
